Sunday Sermon - 07/14/2019 - 1 Corinthians 4:6-13
Opening Prayer:
O Holy God, joy and peace line your paths of righteousness. Thank you for teaching us sinners to walk in your ways, and for patiently enduring our many errors and sins as we grow in obedience.May you be pleased by the praises offered to you today.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Closing Prayer:
O Holy God, the great joys of your church are to repeat aloud the mighty works of Jesus Christ and to revel in the infinite superiority of Christ over his creation. Glorious is the mighty Savior, whose work of salvation towers above humanity’s selfish desires, foolish plans, and sinful pride! Please grant your people courage and humility to join you in the great harvest of souls, taking joy in sharing the truth of the Gospel. May your kingdom extend into the hearts of our coworkers, neighbors, and family members, and so may you be honored in the multiplied joy of city.
We pray this in the name of Christ and for his glory. Amen.
